Jesus said some very profound things during His ministry on earth. One of them was, "It is not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick," and another, "I have come to seek and to save the lost."
We believe it is so important to reach out to others with the love of Christ, both locally, regional, national, and international.
Acts 1:8 says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. "Jesus was sending His disciples out to influence the world for Him. We long to carry on His work as well.
We
at Lord of Life Lutheran Church are excited and blessed to be able to
make a difference in the lives of Honduran children and adults. This opportunity
is made available through World Gospel Outreach (WGO).

1Cor 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
The Honduras Mission trip is a Mission trip that the whole church goes on. God has put in the hearts of some people to pray for the team members going on the trip and the people they are going to visit. God has also put in the hearts of some to go on the Mission trip. God has put in the hearts of some to give donations to help the people of Honduras. God has put in the hearts of some to give monetary donations to help offset the expenses for the team members. Just like1 Cor 12:12, the church is made up of many parts, and all our parts form one. Eight people from Lord of Life are not going on a Mission trip to Honduras - Lord of Life is going on a Mission trip to Honduras.

We are currently one of a few churches that help out with teaching the kids Sunday school at the Children's Home Society. We have had the privilege of sharing many Sundays with these children, as well as providing special Christmas chapels for them. It has been an absolute joy to see that God is doing through this ministry!
