My history at Lord of Life began first as Vacancy Pastor from August of 1991 until March of 1992. I then served another vacancy from June 1994 until October 1994 when I was officially called as Lord of Life's third pastor. my wife's name is Cindy and I have 4 children. Jacob is my only son and my oldest and is 17. Emily is 16 and Kelsie is 12. My stepdaughter, Myrissa, is 17. my whole family is a blessing that I thank my Lord for!
Who am I?
I am the oldest of 4 boys, born and raised in New York State near Niagara Falls. I attended Concordia College in Ann Arbor Michigan from 1979-1983. I then went to seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and graduated in 1988. I was first called to a dual parish in rural South Dakota and since then have continued my entire ministry in South Dakota. I have grown to love this state very much.
Sioux Falls is a great place to raise a family. The people are kind and the folks especially at Lord of Life have made me feel like I am part of a special family. I grew up in the country and I have always loved the outdoors. That's another reason I enjoy this state. It has many great hunting opportunities that have allowed me to get out and enjoy nature! The West River deer hunt is one of my favorites! Besides hunting, I enjoy hiking, reading, writing, working out, spending time with my family and friends, and landscaping.
I am excited about many things at Lord of Life. God's blessings are all around us and I am excited about our purpose and mission.
