Join us on Sunday, November 8 as we have early-access to The Chosen Season 6, episode 1 and we want to invite you to this viewing event.

Before we watch, let us provide a bit of context. At this point in The Chosen, we've watched Jesus humbly (but triumphantly) enter Jerusalem atop a donkey. We've watched Him clear the Temple courts, curse a fig tree, and offer teachings that are either controversial or comforting—or both all at once. We've watched everything that unfolded in the Upper Room with His disciples: the washing of the feet, the breaking of the bread, the pouring of the wine. We've watched His prayerful agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, the arrival of the mob to arrest Jesus, and Judasʼs kiss of betrayal. And now? Let's watch what comes next!

The Chosen is about to tell the story of Jesus' crucifixion across six TV episodes and a movie—and first-century crucifixion was ghastly. While the Crucifixion is not depicted in Episode One, there is a scene of violence in this episode. Our desire is to keep this guide as spoiler-free as possible, but we'll offer this much: you are well-acquainted with the events of the Jesus' arrest in the Garden—which is depicted in Episode One—so you are well-aware of the moment of violence that will unfold on the screen. It is rather quick and not overly graphic, but it will still be hard for many to watch, regardless of age. **parents use your discretion whether you want your child to be part of this viewing.
